It will be an all-Thiruvananthapuram affair in the finals of 2nd Kerala State Squash Championship at the National Games Squash Centre here on Wednesday. Local players bested their rivals in all categories to make it to the summit clash. In the men’s final, top seed Rejin Raj RV will take on second seed Pran Praveen while Neeraja will defend her title against Subhadra K Sony in the women’s category.

In the semifinals, Rejin outplayed Abinjo J Willaims 11-8, 11-7, 11-9 while Pran made short work of Alok S Biju 11-7, 11-7, 11-4.
In the women’s last four, Neerja subdued her friend and training partner G Reshma 11-6, 11-7, 11-8 and Subhadra pipped Farhana Shajeer 11-8, 11-8, 11-8. Subhadra is also in line for a double as the girls under-17 league match against Nikitha B will decide the champion.
Siddhant Patil too figure in two finals: boys U-19 (against top seed Alok) and U-17 (against No.1 Alfeen Nazreth).
Aleena crowned girls U-15 champion
Meanwhile, Aleena Nazreth lifted the girls U-15 title after she posted her third straight win in the round league on Tuesday.
Hosts Krishan Jaipal Singh lifted the title in the pro coach category by keeping a clean slate in the four-player league.
Omkar Vinod (boys U-15) too is expected to keep his title for the second year after the final league match on Wednesday.
